ABOUT ME
I was born in New York City and was raised in France. I have a French Vietnamese mother, a West Indian biological father and an Italian adoptive father.
Growing up as a multicultural and biracial girl, I developed a strong sense of personal style in reaction to the pressure I felt to belong to one group or another. Understanding that belonging means renouncing, I chose instead to confront my own diversity to the world at large and found in fashion image a way to explore, expose and express the tensions I felt. I love experiencing with different aesthetics and I find beauty and inspiration everywhere, from the work of street artist SpY, David Lachapelle's imagery to Miuccia Prada's ugly chic fashion, from nature, colors and architecture to traditional cultures. Creating sets, making visual presentations and assembling outfits is how I express my vision of the world.
ABOUT MY PROCESS
Art director, stylist and producer, my work reflects a combination of my environment, passions and style through fashion and visual presentation. Sometimes minimalist and at other times extravagant, colorful and dark, it mixes different inspirations coming from every little detail that surrounds me.
A large part of the work pictured here, was done during my masters degree at Institut Français de la Mode majoring in Fashion Image Design.
I am now available to work proposition as well as freelance projects.
